ScottishPower – Clearance of trees beneath powerlines
Euro Tree Service Ltd has worked as an approved contractor for ScottishPower in its capacity as a nationalised industry and as a privatised company for fifteen years. A number of contracts have been undertaken which have included the clearance of trees from beneath low and high voltage power lines including 415V, 11,000V, 33,000V and 132,000V in both England and Wales. Euro Tree Service staff have undertaken specialist training and continuous assessment with ScottishPower to enable them to work within the region of and beneath live wires.
Euro Tree Service has supported ScottishPower’s environmental policy, which states that for every tree that is removed, two new trees have to be planted. A full process of auditing is undertaken on a regular basis by ScottishPower which ensures that we are delivering and providing a quality service.

Salford Council – Management of street trees
Euro Tree Service has been working in partnership with Salford Council for 10 years delivering a variety of tree management programmes throughout Salford’s parks, housing areas and streets. Street tree maintenance, for example, can help with reducing the size of mature trees within avenues, so increasing the light levels to home owners and tenants.
“Euro Tree Service has provided Salford with an excellent, high quality service for over ten years; the company has always provided a quick response, both for emergency works and for normal contractual works. The company demonstrates industry best practice, and environmental concerns are always uppermost. They have a great understanding of arboriculture and we enjoy a good working relationship; I would have no hesitation in recommending the services of Euro Tree to others.”

English Heritage – Beeston Castle
Euro Tree Service has worked, and continues to work, in partnership with English Heritage. Over the past 10 years we have supported English Heritage in their tree management programme at Beeston Castle, ensuring that their site remains safe for the visiting public and that its tree stock is preserved. We have had to work within the confines of an ancient monument site and as such have shown sensitivity in our approach and in our ability to deliver.
Network Rail
Euro Tree Service has delivered contracts for Network Rail, clearing trees and vegetation from the sides of the railways throughout North West England and Wales. Staff have been specially trained to work trackside within the confines of Network Rail’s Health and Safety requirements.
Conservation Works
Conservation works have included the removal of birch scrub to facilitate the regeneration of decreasing mossland areas at Risley Moss conservation area in Warrington. This work was undertaken in partnership with English Nature and the Mersey Forest and has enabled the mossland to increase in its diversity of fauna and flora.
"Euro Tree Service is a highly professional organisation and we are proud to have assisted in the growth of the company. Companies such as Euro Tree Service have an important role to play in the future development of The Mersey Forest."
